Villain Month Plans

So, I’m partaking in Eliza Wyatt’s Villain Month, which looks like great fun. Or possibly writing masquerading as great fun, but why fuss over little details? ;)

My basic plan for this is to work on two villains, both from different projects. Two weeks will be devoted to each one, and for the duration of June my Daily Artage project will be focused on these bad boys. Activities will include:

– Drawings and paintings. Duh.
– Probably a character sheet, even though I normally hate those things. Each character will go through it twice, once at the beginning and once at the end, to see how much more I’ve learned about them.
– At least one scene from the original story rewritten from their POV.
– Notes and backhistory sketches.

And on their last day, I will also put them through the Mary-Sue Litmus Test, because these types of tests are just fun.

So, first villain up is the Archduke Khiro, who doesn’t even have a set name yet. Poor guy. Next in line is Darren Hare, who does have a set name but is usually referred to as “the lord” in the story. Clearly, I’ve got some work to do. :)
