Villain Month: Character Sheet

I found a very thorough character sheet from this site, and will now torture myself with it. Be warned, it’s long. If anyone actually takes the time to read this entire freakin’ thing, you have the patience of a saint. Hur, hur.

Character’s Full Name: Archduke Richard Khiro.
Reason or meaning of name: I pulled it out of an impolite place upon realizing “crazy duke guy” wouldn’t cut it.

Nickname: The Bloody Duke. If it’s not already taken.
Reason for nickname: He enjoys hunting women. As in, chasing and slaughtering them like rabbits.
Birthdate: Umm…let’s just leave it at “during winter”.
Astrological Sign: …possibly Aquarius?

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
Age: Past 50, but in good health.
How old does s/he appear? His age.
Eye Color: Brown.
Glasses or contacts: Possibly a monocle.
Weight: 200ish.
Height: 6′.
Type of body/build: Built like a bull. Big, wide, with some fat over the muscle.
Skin tone: Pale.
Skin type:…well, he has wrinkles…
Predominant feature: His lips. Very red against his white skin.
Distinguishing Marks: None.
Hair color: Grey.
Distinguishable hair feature (bald, receding hairline, etc.): It’s all there.
Type of hair (coarse, fine, thick, etc?): Thick enough to make Rapunzel jealous.
Character’s typical hairstyle: Brushed straight back from the forehead, sometimes in a ponytail.
Resembles: I’ll have to get back to you on that.
Is s/he healthy? As a horse.

First memory: Not sure yet. Possibly something to do with his mother.
Most important childhood event that still affects him/her: The death of his parents. That was when he realized you can get away with a lot if you play your cards right.
Education: Highly educated.
Religion: Only to keep up appearances.
Finances: Mucho rich.

Relationship with her: Not sure.
Father: Archduke Tobir Khiro.
Relationship with him: Not sure.

Where does Character work? He doesn’t.

Character’s greatest fear: That he will lose the thrill of hunting.
Why? Because then he would truly have a dead soul.
What is the worst thing that could happen to him/her? If a woman escaped him.
What single event would most throw character’s life in complete turmoil? See above.
Why? To lose a hunt would mean weakness.
Character is most at ease when: He knows he’s in control.
Most ill at ease when: Something unexpected occurs.

such or not): Not giving a damn about what other people think.

such or not): Overconfidence.

Biggest vulnerability: He underestimates what other people can do. He thinks of himself as untouchable; he’s not.
Which of the 7 deadly sins does your character fight (or give into, willingly or not)? He fights none aside from sloth, and often gives into lust, wrath, and pride.
Which of the 7 virtues does your character have (or fight against)? …Whoa, I didn’t realize these even existed. Uhh…actually, he can be very patient.

TRAITS
Optimist or pessimist: Optimist.
Why? He has a pretty good time with life.
Introvert or extrovert: Extrovert, definitely.
Drives and motivations: Women. Always the women. He loves owning them.
Talents: He’s a good painter, and very good at charming people.
Extremely skilled at: Hunting.
Extremely unskilled at: Emotional connections.
Good characteristics: Patience, confidence, strength, intelligence, funny, superficially kind.
Character flaws: Lack of respect for others, enjoys murder, is not above lying, and must always have his way.
Mannerisms: A mix of the proper with the lewd.
Peculiarities: Do I really need to say at this point?
Biggest regret: He’s never hunted in chimerae territory, though he wishes he has. It’s too dangerous for even him.
Minor regrets: That he can’t find a good method of preserving flesh.
Biggest accomplishment: He’s the richest man in his country (as yet unnamed).
Minor accomplishments: He recently was interviewed over his paintings.
Character’s darkest secret: Kind of obvious by now, but he kills women.
Does anyone else know? Rumors in social circles and common knowledge in the villages that surround his mansion.

If no, how did they find out? Well, when you see your daughter’s lifeless corpse strung up like a pheasant’s in front of the mansion…

SELF-PERCEPTION
One word character would use to describe self: Connoisseur.
One paragraph description of how character would describe self: I am a connoisseur of all that is fine in life — of wine, of pigment and paper, of thought and flesh. I am pleased.
What does character consider best physical characteristic? His crack shot.
What does character consider worst physical characteristic? A worsening tremor in his hand.

How CHARACTER thinks others perceive him/her: He doesn’t think about things like that. That is beneath him.

Hero/Heroine? Fun part! The heroine can smell blood on him, but doesn’t suspect how far it goes…
